Emanuel Moosbrugger | Director of Service

Emanuel brings a lifetime of hospitality experience to Benu’s management team. He spent much of his childhood at his family’s hotel in the Austrian Alps, the Hotel Schwanen, helping as much as his parents would let him, after school, over the weekends and on school holidays. Following his graduation from Villa Blanka Higher Institute for Tourism and Marketing in Innsbruck, Austria, he continued his career in hospitality working in Italy, France, Switzerland and his native Austria. In 2005 he moved to New York to join Daniel Boulud’s Dinex Group. He started at Cafe Boulud as an Assistant Captain, moving to Captain, Assistant General Manager and finally, Chef Sommelier.
